Sometimes dinner doesn’t need to be complicated. Beagles Pizza sits right in the centre of Airlie Beach and is an easy option for dine-in, takeaway or delivery around the local area.

All of the pizza bases, sauces and ingredients are prepared fresh daily, with deep pan or thin bases available. The Beagles Supreme comes loaded with ham, pepperoni, prawns, olives, mushrooms, onion, capsicum and pineapple, while the Beef Bonanza and BBQ Chicken cover the meatier end of things.

Boaty’s sits right at the top end of the Airlie Beach main street and is a good option when you want dinner somewhere casual, lively and easy.

The menu covers plenty of crowd-pleasers, including the Taco Trio, Wagyu Burger and Boaty’s Fried Chicken, along with pub-style favourites and a local rump served with onion rings, chips, salad and your choice of gravy.

Regular live music and a busy bar give the place plenty of atmosphere, particularly later in the evening. If you’re visiting the Whitsundays and want dinner somewhere that can naturally turn into a few drinks and a night out, Boaty’s makes that pretty easy.

Perched on the hill above Airlie Beach, Anchor Bar gives you big views across the marina and towards the Whitsunday Islands, making sunset a pretty good time to arrive for dinner.

The current menu has plenty worth sharing, including Natural Oysters, Market Fish Ceviche, Salt & Pepper Australian Calamari, Smoked Lamb Ribs and Fish Bao. Bigger dishes include Market Fish, hibachi prawns and a 250g MB6 Wagyu Rump Cap with tallow fries and bone marrow butter.

Tucked amongst the yachts at Coral Sea Marina, Garden Bar is a cracking spot for dinner with a proper Whitsundays setting.

There are char-grilled steaks, house-smoked ribs, burgers, pizza, pasta and plenty of seafood. Go coastal with Whitsunday Garlic Prawns or the Seafood Basket, get stuck into an Angus Beef Burger, or choose from cuts including rump, sirloin, eye fillet and scotch fillet.

Mika brings big Latino flavours, colourful cocktails and a lively atmosphere to dinner in Airlie Beach.

Start with Australian Oysters, fresh guacamole, ceviche, Gambas or crispy calamari before getting into the bigger stuff. The fajitas arrive sizzling with your choice of chicken, steak, lamb or mushroom, while La Mar combines grilled prawns, crispy barra wing, chipotle butter bug and Casa Blanca oysters.

If you’re looking for a casual dinner in the Whitsundays where you can eat, grab a few drinks and stick around afterwards, Mulligans fits the bill.

Right in the centre of Airlie Beach, Laguna is an easy dinner option when you want plenty of flavour without anything too formal.

The menu is made for mixing things up, with Karaage Chicken Strips served with harissa mayo, Chicken Wings with house bourbon BBQ glaze and plenty of dishes suited to sharing. With plenty of space and a relaxed family-friendly atmosphere, Jubilee is a good dinner option away from the busier Airlie Beach main street while still being right in the heart of the Whitsundays.
